Built on labs · physician-led
Most wellness programs focus on calorie restriction, generic workout plans, and willpower — and most fail within weeks. That's because they ignore the real drivers of sustainable change: metabolism, hormones, lifestyle, stress, and sleep.
At Ascend, our wellness programs are built on medical insight, behavioral psychology, and lifestyle science. Led by Dr. Jason Saylor, DO, every program starts with comprehensive labs and a full assessment of your hormones, metabolism, stress, sleep, nutrition, and current health goals.
Then we build you a personalized protocol — and we stay with you. Monthly check-ins, medication management when indicated, accountability coaching, and adjustments as your body changes. This is medically supervised wellness, not a challenge or a 12-week transformation package.
Four standards we hold ourselves to that separate medically supervised wellness from another diet, fad, or 12-week transformation package.
Metabolic panel, hormones, inflammation, and nutrient markers before any program begins. Data, not assumptions.
Every program overseen by Dr. Jason Saylor, DO personally. Not a coach, not an app — a board-certified physician who knows your full chart.
We don't set it and forget it. We adapt as you do — medication, dose, lifestyle, all of it.
Your wellness program and your annual physical work together under one chart, one team, one plan.
Five distinct programs — all physician-supervised, all built around your actual labs and biology, and all available standalone or integrated with your primary care.
Transform your body, restore your energy, reclaim your confidence. We address metabolism, hormones, stress, sleep, and long-term habits — not another diet. Includes GLP-1 medications when clinically appropriate, labs, accountability, and ongoing physician supervision.
Personalized care for every stage of life. Restoring hormonal and metabolic balance so you feel energized, confident, and in control. Perimenopause, menopause, PCOS, thyroid, and women's preventive care.
Optimize your health, strength, and performance. Addressing the root causes of age-related decline in energy, metabolism, and hormones. Testosterone evaluation, metabolic health, and cardiovascular optimization.
Personalized coaching focused on prevention and performance — metabolic stability, cardiovascular resilience, cognitive performance, and sleep optimization. For patients who want to feel better 10 years from now, not just next month.
Qualified physician evaluations for Florida medical marijuana cards. In-person and telehealth certifications with Dr. Jason Saylor, DO. Compliant with Florida Department of Health OMMU requirements.
Six clinical areas where wellness, lifestyle, and primary care meet — all integrated under one chart.
Dr. Saylor actually ran the labs first. He didn't just hand me a GLP-1 prescription and send me on my way. He looked at the whole picture — thyroid, cortisol, sleep — and built a plan around me.
Wellness programs are primarily self-pay with optional insurance coverage for underlying medical conditions. We always verify your benefits and discuss cost before prescribing.
Labs are billed separately and may be covered by your insurance.
GLP-1 weight-loss medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound) — when clinically appropriate, discussed during consultation. Some are partially covered by insurance, some are self-pay.
No surprises: we always discuss cost before prescribing. Dr. Saylor will be straight with you about what these medications can and can't do.
Hormone optimization, supplements, and adjunct treatments — discussed individually based on your labs and goals. No pre-packaged sales funnels.

No. You can start with wellness as a standalone service. Many patients later add primary care because the integration makes everything simpler — one chart, one team, one plan.
When clinically appropriate, yes. But GLP-1s are a tool — not a strategy. We prescribe them only when they fit the whole picture after labs and evaluation. Dr. Saylor will be straight with you about what they can and can't do, what they cost, and what your alternatives are.
Dr. Saylor is a qualified physician under the Florida Department of Health OMMU program. Certification is available in-person at Wesley Chapel or Tampa, or via telehealth statewide. The visit is 30 minutes. After certification, you're responsible for registering with the state and visiting a licensed dispensary.
Most programs start with a 60-minute initial consult, followed by monthly 30-minute check-ins for the first 6 months. After that, cadence adjusts based on your response and goals. This is medicine, not a package.
Tell us what you're working on. We'll match you with Dr. Saylor for a wellness evaluation, review your labs, and design a protocol built around your actual biology — not a template.
